    (Can be for an actual session or for a mental rehearsal)

REVIEW ONE

    1.        Did you find the visualizations helpful? If so, how? If not, write down your questions and
    concerns and we can address them at the next Q&A Session.
    2.        What issue did you agree to work on?
    a.        Was it a child’s choice? Or your choice?
    b.        Whose idea was it? Why did everyone agree to work on this issue?
    3.        Did you make sure the time and place were agreeable to everyone?
    4.        Were there any difficulties? If there were what were they?
    a.        If there were, how did you resolve them?
    5.        Did anyone not participate who is affected by the decisions? Who? Why?
    a.        How was that dealt with?
    6.        Did you let everyone know that only decisions that everyone likes will be made?
    a.        What were their responses?

REVIEW TWO

    1.        Did you have paper, pen and a surface to write on?
    2.        Did you decide who did the writing? How was it decided? Who wrote? Why was that decision
    made?
    3.        Did you come to an agreement on exactly what the problem was before you wrote it down?
    Was there any confusion here?
    4.        Did you always double check on understanding before you wrote something down? Was
    anything left confusing for anyone?
    5.        Whose problem was it? Why was it a problem for them?
    6.        Just because something is a problem for one person does not mean that it is a problem for
    everyone. This is very important to understand. How did everyone else feel about the problem?

REVIEW THREE

    1.        Did preparation for brainstorming go smoothly?
    a.        Did everyone understand and agree to the guidelines?
    b.        If not, what happened and how was it resolved?
    2.        How did the Brainstorming step go?
    a.        Were there any unforeseen problems, obstacles to overcome?
    b.        Is there anything you would do differently next time?
    c.        Why do you think that might be better?
    3.        Was the Elimination step easy for you?
    a.        Was it enjoyable?
    b.        Were there any difficulties?
    c.        Is there anything you would do differently next time?
    d.        Why do you think that might be better?
    e.        How did everyone like the Elimination step?
    f.        Did everyone participate?
    g.        Did you have enough ideas to work with to negotiate a win-win solution?
    4.        Did everyone enjoy the Negotiation step?
    a.        Did any problems come up?
    b.        Did any misunderstandings need to be cleared up?
    5.        How does it seem to be going now for all involved?

REVIEW FOUR

    1.        Were you able to negotiate a win-win solution?
    a.        Did you face any obstacles?
    b.        If so, how did you resolve them?
    c.        If not, how did it feel to reach a mutually satisfying decision so smoothly?
    2.        Did you remember to write down the plan?
    a.        Did you make sure that everyone understood the plan in the same way before you
    wrote it down?
    3.        Did you decide on a follow up day and time?
    a.        Was this written on a calendar or some public place?

REVIEW FIVE

    1.        How does the plan seem to be working?
    a.        What have you observed or experienced that makes you think this?
    2.        If you noticed any possibilities of things that are not going well, what do you think might be
    done about them.
    3.        Is there anything you might like to do differently next time?
    4.        What did people say at the Review Meeting?
    a.        Is everyone satisfied?
    b.        Did you have to do any tweaking? What were the problems? How did they get
    tweaked?
    c.        Did you have to do the whole process over again? Why?
    i.        What is the new solution?

Even if you have not had an actual session, you can complete the following Reviews. Do a
Mental Rehearsal with these questions in mind, especially focus on doing a Spontaneous
session. Observe children who come to agreements without arguments, use those
observations for Review Seven. Making this ability a consistent habit is one of the goals of
this Strategy.

REVIEW SIX

This is to be answered after you have had a strategy session and you might have noticed changes in the
behavior of the children you work with or yourself:
    1.        Have you noticed changes in the children that might indicate that they are heading toward
    the ENDING of conflict? What changes?
    2.        Have they already ended conflict, choosing to find mutually agreeable solutions?

REVIEW SEVEN

This is to be answered after you have had a strategy session and you have noticed that you and the
children are finding win-win solutions…without strategy sessions, just instantly, on the spot! The Shift has
been made!

    1.        Write as many examples of this as come to mind
